iTalk Recorder Premium App Reviews

Just recorded a 3 hrs meeting with 15 people around a table. Listening to it after the meeting and the sound quality was excellent even for people far away from my phone in the middle of the room. Cant believe the usefulness of this lil app. No fail at all.

Easy to use & very good results. Best recorder AP i have tried.

Previous version iTalk worked for iPhone 3GS. Although I was able to record 2 hours continuously, there were the occasion drop outs and glitches in the sound. The recent 4.5.1 has a serious bug and will not initiate the program at all on the 3GS. Ive experienced the exact same problem on the free version as well. Probably the result of very poor programming and QA testing. Another loonie (dollar) wasted. Look elsewhere for a more reliable recorder.

I am constantly on the go and needed something that was easily accessible to take notes down and email. This is just what I needed. ! I also use it to record lectures in school

This app is great, but a trim option would make it fantastic!!

Not sure why, but when I record, it cuts out every once in awhile. Is there any reason for this and any way to fix it?

Records great with the apple hardware. What made this app different was the link to Dropbox. This part though doesnt work. App used to upload about 1 in 3 times you tried, but now the app just crashes. Needs to be fixed or refund people!

Used to be great... No longer has strong enough output single. What happened?

Had this app for years on my iPad2. Just got an iPad Air 2 and it doesnt work. Just stops recording after a couple minutes on its own. I hope they fix this. It was great up until this point.

Great app. Use it frequently. Great sound quality and easy to use. However it would make the app even greater if there was Google Drive integration and the 150mb upload limit was removed. Also I really dont like the fact that if Im short of space and Im recording the audio and the space runs out, I end up with no recording. Does it not stream to disk? I should have at least a partial recording. Please fix.

Bought this app years ago and still the best app for the best sound quality ever. No brainer purchase! Recorded many live jazz events and its like Im still there. Can upload to Dropbox. Super easy to use. Whats there not to like? Awesome work!

I would definitely rate this app as a 5 star if it had the ability to edit or trim recordings. The audio quality is pretty good and I’ve been happy with this as a recorder, but would definitely pay a couple of bucks more to get trimming capability on top of whatever I paid to upgrade iTalk Recorder to Premium a few years ago.

Really handy tool for recording. Easy to use. Encountered an issue, but tech support team was very quick to respond and help fix the problem!

I use this app all the time during meetings and then transcribe the meeting back at my desk. Allows me to not miss anything. Would it be possible to add a trimming feature. I need to trim stuff from the beginning and ending of these recordings in order to keep them as small as possible. Most time beginning of meeting is just introductions and rambling which can be trimmed from the recording. Also, a universal app would be great as well so that I only need to take my iPad to meetings instead of phone and iipad. Its time to update this app to use the Apple Watch. I would like to be able to record via the watch without my phone (or iPAD) being present. There are apps out there to do this already, but would like to stay loyal to this one.

Easy to learn and use. Still miss my Blackberry hotkeys that allowed me to press a button on the side to allow me to instantly record a note or conversation. Great feature on the fly or when driving. As easy as iTalk is to use, I still need to look at the screen and go through a couple of steps. A hassle. Have phone. Will travel.

Records my voice with stunning clarity but not the other voice: the voice I want to record.

Works like a charm for meetings etc. Unfortunately needs an expensive download from the Internet to store longer recordings.

It does what it says but aside from dropbox support there isnt much to. Quality / small size scale is much better in Voice Memos
