no longer works

I have been using this app for two years, and the quality of the recording has never been great, but it has served for my purposes. this week, it suddenly stopped working- it acts like it is recording in the background, but when you click the top bar, it freezes and deletes your whole recording. I have lost two important recordings today alone because of this. I will be using a different app from here on out.
