Your comments are unnecessary negative. If you need re-record why not record again. If you need replace specific parents recording this wont it, you are right. But it is not supposed to do. If you need that go for AudioMemos app which costs $10 with all addons including drop box support and editing of recordings.

For folks like me who need simple spinster background recording and dropbox support this app works great.

One thing I would wish it has is also support for compressed audio or add support for recording "low quality audio" to keep file size small in case I need to email it.
